Last of the Titans: Inside the last Audi LMP1

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

On the back of their exit from sportscar racing’s top category, Audi has released technical shots of their final LMP1 car, the R18 TDI e-tron quattro, this includes an unabated look at the heart of their diesel-hybrid prototype.

An area which was closely guarded by Audi to the point that no photographer would be allowed into their garage during a race weekend, and standing outside their pit garage alone would arouse an alarming levels of suspicion from within their garages (trust me, I’ve received those death-stares).

That has now clearly changed as Audi have now released shots of the inner workings into the public as a parting gift to their fans.
