London ePrix dates announced for second season

The FIA’s World Motorsport Council today confirmed the dates for the London ePrix in Formula E’s second season, which will once again be a double header event. The season finale will take place over the weekend of the 2nd and 3rd of July 2016.

The event took place on the last weekend of June in its inaugural running, but moves back one weekend to the start of July. F1’s British Grand Prix is taking place on the last weekend of June in 2016. The London ePrix will, however, clash with F1’s Austrian Grand Prix.

The WMSC also confirmed the changes to the qualifying and FanBoost systems for the second campaign of the all-electric racing series.
