Qualifying groups drawn in Uruguay

Ahead of the third qualifying session of the season in Punta del Este, the four groups that the drivers will take to the track in have been drawn.
Group 1 will see four drivers competing for the quickest time, with DS Virgin Racing’s Jean-Éric Vergne, fellow Frenchman Nathanaël Berthon (Team Aguri) and NEXTEV TCR duo Nelson Piquet Jr and Oliver Turvey taking to the track first.
Group 2 contains championship leader Lucas di Grassi (ABT Schaeffler Audi Sport), the fastest man in FP2 Nicolas Prost (Renault e.dams), Dragon Racing’s Jérôme d’Ambrosio, Sam Bird of DS Virgin Racing and Amlin Andretti rookie Robin Frijns. Dutchman Frijns is the only one of the quintet not to have won an ePrix so far.
The third group sees current FanBoost leader Stéphane Sarrazin (Venturi), Dragon Racing’s Loïc Duval, rookie Oliver Rowland (Mahindra Racing), Team Aguri’s António Félix da Costa and Daniel Abt of ABT Schaeffler Audi Sport take to the track.
Finally in group 4, polesitter in both Beijing and Putrajaya, Sébastien Buemi (Renault e.dams) will compete against Jacques Villeneuve (Venturi), Bruno Senna of Mahindra Racing and Amlin Andretti’s Simona de Silvestro.
Qualifying gets underway at midday local time (3pm GMT).
