Renault e.dams enjoyed once again being on the top step of the podium. Sébastien Buemi added another victory to his name, whilst team-mate Nico Prost had a strong P5 finish to consolidate his third position in the championship.

Championship leader Buemi started the race from P1, showing a strong performance that allowed him to create a considerable gap to the rest of the grid. Prost, on the other hand, had qualified 9th and was able to move up some places on the grid as soon as the red lights went out.

Buemi led most of the race, except four laps headed by Faraday Future Dragon Racing’s Mike Conway. But as soon as the Brit pitted, the Swiss was back at the top where he remained until crossing the finish line. Prost finished in P5, scoring vital points to remain third in the drivers’ championship.

The Paris ePrix saw Buemi qualify in P1 for the second time in a row. The Swiss set his dominance of the race as soon as lights were out, easily managing to take advantage of the rest of the drivers, avoiding Jean-Éric Vergne’s attempts to overtake him.

After swapping cars, the Swiss remained second behind Mike Conway for four laps and earned the lead again after the Brit entered the pits for the mandatory car swap.

DS Virgin Racing’s José María López positioned himself second, after Vergne put his Techeetah on the wall. The Argentinian pushed hard to overtake Buemi, but the safety car deployed in the last laps prevented this from happening, and the reigning champion won his fifth race this season.

Frenchman Prost started the race from P9 and was able to overtake cars as soon as red lights were out. He was able to remain in the top ten for mostly all the race, after a couple of past races struggling to be in the point-scoring positions.

Prost saw the chequered flag in sixth position, but was later awarded win P5 after Robin Frijns’s five second penalty. He remains third in the championship, scoring vital points for both him and his team.
