Maximilian Günther will once again be in action for the GEOX Dragon team as he stays on in the race seat previously occupied by Felipe Nasr.
The German started season five of the ABB Formula E Championship for GEOX Dragon, competing in the opening three rounds and scoring a best position of 12th in Marrakesh before being replaced by Nasr as part of his predetermined three race programme.
Nasr had been unable to score any points himself, but due to a clash with the Long Beach round of the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship had to miss Rome, where Günther stepped in and surged into Super Pole before a spin into the barrier ruined his race.
With Nasr understood to be focusing on his preparations for the next round of the IMSA season at Mid-Ohio, Günther will once again step into the cockpit of the #6 Penske EV-3 and look to build on his strong form in Rome as he aims for his maiden series points.

Following on from Rome, e-racing.net understands that there is a possibility that Günther will remain in the car for the rest of the season with the team yet to confirm when, or if, Nasr will return to the all-electric series.
