Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler unveils season six livery

Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler has revealed the car that it will use to fight for the season six championship, dubbed the Audi e-tron FE06.

The striking new livery is a move away from its prior editions with a predominantly black and orange design, while also keeping the green powertrain cover from its Schaeffler sponsorship.

For a sixth time in as many seasons, Lucas di Grassi and Daniel Abt will represent Audi on the Formula E grid, with both looking to fight for the title in what is proving to be a highly competitive series.

Abt gave high praise of the new design: “Compliments to the design team at Audi. I’ve been keeping track of the visual development over the last few weeks and think the result is brilliant – the car simply looks aggressive and fast.”

Teammate di Grassi was also very pleased with the livery of the FE06 and hopes that it will bring the team results in season six.

“The fans are going to immediately recognise our car from the grandstands or on television. Each livery in the five seasons has had its own unique character, but the FE06 is my favourite. Now it’s up to the whole team to also make it a success.”

The car will be publically unveiled at the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show next week.
