Ahead of the first ever ePrix in Paris, e-racing.net senior editor Bethonie Waring quizzed Venturi’s Mike Conway on what attracted him to the series and how he sees his Paris weekend panning out.

“I’d been watching from the start, testing in Italy, and it’s just an exciting series. Completely new, really. Although it’s still a race car, being electric is quite unique. It’s a series of the future, most cars kind of going that way now.”

“I’d worked together with Stephane in the Toyota package. He just kind of gave me all the information I needed in terms of how to drive the car, what things to look out for. At the end of the day we’re both drivers so we can figure it out.”

“Possibly yeah. It kind of all depends on how the car is when we roll out, how it feels, and you’ve got only a short amount of time to make adjustments so that’s going to play a part. But yeah, hopefully with no one else having experience here will help.”
