Formula E was recognised in the annual British Renewable Energy Award, winning the Low Carbon Transport award with Gnewt Cargo.

The BritREAwards aims to reward companies from across the renewable energy world who have advanced the industry in the UK. Formula E’s work to advance not only electric vehicle technology but charging technology made it a clear contender for the Low Carbon Transport award.

It’s fantastic that the FIA Formula E Championship has been recognised for its efforts in promoting the use of renewable energies. We hope to continue to change people’s perceptions of electric vehicles and in turn to see the wider use of cleaner energy solutions in cities all over the world.”
Julia Palle, Sustainability Manager at Formula E[/pullquote]

Whilst the drivers prepare for the championship showdown in London, Formula E continues to win the fight for electric vehicle technology.
