Abt are aiming to make it four podiums in four races for Lucas Di Grassi in Buenos Aires this weekend.

Both Abt drivers didn’t have a perfect race in the South American last time around, with neither Di Grassi nor team mate Daniel Abt making the chequered flag, but the team is determined to change that this time around.

With the Argentine race Di Grassi’s “home race”, the Brazilian will be aiming to please, and to solidify his position as a championship contender.

“Races in South America are always something very special for me,” he said. “The fans are enjoying an incredibly close championship this season in which every minute detail is crucial.”

Di Grassi was unable to scored points last year due to a technical defect, but more than made up for it throughout the rest of last season, and his pass and momentum this season would suggest another DNF isn’t on the Brazilian’s to do list.

Daniel Abt was unable to finish last year’s race through more man made errors, with an optimistic overtaking move at the end of the race resulting in a collision.

Abt is also on a high after his debut drive in a GT car, finishing third in the 24-hour race in Dubai.

“I’m looking forward to Buenos Aires – a fantastic city, a demanding circuit,” he said. “I started the new year with a little success and aim to continue this in Formula E.”
